New Crea y Crece Law: Impact on Grants

Law 18/2022, on the creation and growth of companies, stipulates that in order to be eligible for subsidies exceeding in order to access subsidies in excess of 30,000 euros, companies subject to Law 3/2004, which establishes measures against late payment, must comply with the payment deadlines dictated by the latter.

This regulation, effective October 19, 2022, requires companies to demonstrate compliance with the Delinquency Law in order to be eligible for these subsidies. This can be a particular challenge for financially distressed companies that are often the ones seeking subsidies, creating uncertainty about their ability to comply with these requirements.
